The Brunton Geo Pocket Transit
Brunton Professional Compasses & Transits
Advanced technology for the worlds most inhospitable terrain
The Geo Pocket Transit is Brunton's newest release, and represents the most innovative, durable, and technologically advanced transit Brunton has manufactured to date. The Brunton Geo Pocket transit is a professional tool that is designed for outdoor professionals who need the very best equipment and tools.
The Brunton Geo Transit has several innovative and advanced features that allow it to do more than many other professional pocket transits. Some of the features include an aluminum and waterproof frame; a quick, magnetic north seeking, rare earth magnet, which is balanced on a sapphire jewel bearing for efficient and effective measurements; a hinge inclinometer based on the European method measuring biological strike and dip simultaneously.
The result of this system is a reduction in the number of measurements an individual must make while in backcountry areas or wilderness zones. Furthermore, the Brunton Geo Transits progressive needle design allows the needle to be locked or unlocked, depending on the needs of the outdoor-life enthusiast.
