The Mountain Hardwear Trance alpine pack is a roomy, 3300 cubic inch internal-frame model that’s made out of coated ripstop and Cordura nylon for durability and strength. The Trance backpack weighs just over three pounds and can be stripped even further by removing the lid, waist-belt, and back pad. The pack has a back panel that doubles as a 38in bivy pad, a waist belt with slots for carabiners to rack ice screws, and a roll-top design that seals even when the lid is taken off. The Trance alpine pack is also available in small, medium and large sizes and is compatible with a hydration system.
